Aurora Town Square – Financial Status REPORT, General Committee meeting, November 21, 2023

On November 7, the General Committee meeting, the Council requested that staff compile a summary of the current financial status of the Aurora Town Square. Why is this project almost 2 years behind? The original aggressive completion date was scheduled for September 2022.

Aurora Town Square and Guelph Central Library: Interesting Similarities

Last week, during the General Committee Meeting, Cllr Gilliland asked staff to prepare the $60M plus Aurora Town Square information report, which to include operational, staffing, capital, debt repayment, and celebration costs. The report should show the expenses incurred to date and the anticipated future expenses. Expect this report to be issued for the November 14th General Committee meeting.
