In my opinion, it was very generous of Cllr Weese to agree to reconsider the first voting session where Cllr Kim mistakenly voted YES for his Aurora Council Opposition to Strong Mayor Powers MOTION.

On September 26, 2023, Councilor Ron Weese's motion against the Strong Mayor Powers (SMP) in Aurora will be discussed at the Council AGENDA. Despite speaking against SMP during elections, Mayor Mrakas and possibly Councilors Thompson and Kim now fully support obtaining these powers.
